Abigail Moss
Abigail has recently moved to Museums Libraries Archives London after 10 years working on the education, learning and wider children and young people’s agenda at Arts Council England, London. Most recently she set up a governance structure for children, young people and culture in partnership with the GLA and initiated a strand of the existing London Cultural Improvement Programme which focuses on joint working between cultural and children’s services in local authorities across London. Abigail’s work at MLA London continues to focus on improvement and innovation, across a wider range of local government services.
Abigail has also been regional lead for the Find Your Talent pathfinder programme and has had oversight of a portfolio of work that includes quality assurance and innovation in the children and young people’s arts offer in London, the Arts Award scheme and provision of online cultural information for schools. In 2002 she led the set up the original Creative Partnerships (CP) teams in London and from 2008 had oversight of the programme and was involved in the development and launch of a new independent agency that delivers CP across 21 London boroughs.
