Talking Books is an early years project that encourages parents and young children to bring stories to life through play and making activities.

During the project we explore stories from all over the world, traveling with peaches, learning from jackals, and escaping with pixies. The Children and parents then begin to tell each other tales, sharing their imagination with the group through drawings and stories.

These stories become mini performances that the children and parents perform for the rest of the group.

"This has changed me as a parent. Before I would be too tired and not give time to my daughter... Now I make more time for doing things with her and because I see the fun we have, I am less harsh."
